British Dry Chocolate Stout
ABV 4.5% IBU 33.4

A feature of the European Theatre of the Second World War was the need for total darkness (called the "blackout") at night. This ensured that enemy bombers could not easily see their targets on night raids and also to identify planes easier using the strong search lights and help gunners target them with ground to air anti-aircraft flak. This all British malt and Kentish hops infused dry stout is a very drinkable dark ale, and because it is as black as midnight it would get the full approval of Air Warden Police.  “Turn that light out!!!” Enjoy!

Tasting Notes: Complex light stout features English chocolate malt.  Upfront strong black coffee and dark chocolate notes burst on the palate, but then quickly dissipate.  Light aftertaste.
